We cherish your rugs like they are our own. Our cleaning process is safe for all rugs. We use no harsh chemicals in the cleaning process. We use a low PH gentle shampoo and fringes are cleaned by hand.

Steam vs. Deep Cleaning

There is a big difference between steam cleaning and the deep cleaning we perform in our state of the art area rug cleaning facility. Steam cleaning only removes soil from the surface of the rug. It will not remove the soil that is embedded deep down at the base of the rug. Without removing that fine grit and soil, it can actually damage the rug fibers. The rug will re-soil more quickly and will not look as clean and fresh.

Kashian Bros’ deep cleaning method safely removes dirt embedded at the base of your rug. The result is a cleaner rug that retains its beauty much longer.

Step 1Inspection & Estimate Confirmation

We inspect the rug to determine the proper cleaning method and to inspect for any damage. We then measure the rug and provide a written estimate for the cleaning and any necessary repairs.

Step 2Sonic Vibrations

We use sonic vibration to remove any solid particulates that are embedded in the rug.

Step 3Soak, Enzymes & Shampoo

The rug is then thoroughly soaked. If the rug has pet odors, we soak the rug using enzymes to break down and complete remove the odor. We then scrub the rug using an environmentally friendly, low PH shampoo. We flip the rug over and clean both sides.

Step 4Fringe is Hand-Cleaned

The fringe is cleaned by hand.

Step 5Rinse, Centrifuge & Drying

The rug is thoroughly rinsed. The rug is placed in our commercial centrifuge where the rug is rinsed a 2nd time to remove any remaining soapy residue. Once the rug comes out of the centrifuge, it is 95% dry. The rug is placed in our dry room where heat, air movers and dehumidifiers are used to quickly dry the rug. This is a critical step. By drying the rug quickly, it insures that the dyes will not run and the fringe will dry quickly. Note: Some competitors only "air dry" the rugs. This means that they must use bleach or other chemicals to brighten the fringe. Because of our drying process, no harsh chemicals are needed in the cleaning process.

Step 6Inspection, Brushing & Prep for Delivery

Once the rug is completely dry, we inspect for any stains that may need to be worked on separately. The rug is brushed and prepared for delivery.

Step 1Structure

We inspect the rug to determine the proper cleaning method and to inspect for any damage. We then measure the rug and provide a written estimate for the cleaning and any necessary repairs.

Step 2Fringe & Serging

Are the fringes secure? Is there any uneven wear? Is the hand wrapping along the edge of the rug secured?

If necessary, we will recommend new fringing, overcasting or serging.

Step 3Dyes & Stains

We check to make sure there is no dye migration or color run. We identify any stains that may need to be worked on.

Step 4Pet Odors & Moth Damage

We check for pet accidents and inspect the rug for any signs of moth damage.
