We often get asked, “do I need to need to sand my floor or can I just buff and recoat my floor”? The answer lies in the topcoat of finish. If the finish has been worn down to the bare wood, the floor will start to discolor in that area, usually a dull gray. The only way to remove the stain is to sand it down to the bare wood. If, on the other hand, there are only fine, small scratches that are dulling the look of the floor, you might be able to buff and recoat the floor. Ask Kashian Bros for a free evaluation if you are not sure which method to use.

“I am writing to express my delight with the condition of my floors. Words can’t express how phenomenally beautiful they are now. The crew are true artisans. They were courteous, meticulous, exacting. Every detail was attended to. In short, perfect. I can’t sing your praises enough. The friends who have seen the results are equally amazed. I hope this leads to more business for Kashian Bros.”
